Lombok Hero's is everyone. Please feel free to use our photo's, videos to tell our positive 'Lombok Hero's' story.
We really value media and the important role media have in helping protect people from the suffering the coming rainy season will bring. The scope of this project to get 250,000 people out of tent camps before rainy season back to their homes where they clear their house base with tools we provide and for them to build their own temporary rainy season home seems obvious, but without big hammers, bolt cutters & tools makes the task almost impossible people. Seeding Forty Five thousand homes with army support is ambitious but very achievable if people work together and the call is "Gotong Royong".

The Start: Vision & summary by Peter Honey in Rampete village
Thanks to $6 big hammer heads, 1 pair of $25 bolt cutter and $100 of simple tools tools this village of 120 homes, in just ten days is 100% is in temporary homes with toilets, the people are really positive, families safe from risk of tent camp epidemics and 100% of aid. It is so positive and their village glue has never been stronger. In time to come hopefully they will soon have funds from govt to build a new earthquake safe home and as they have saved their 'house bases' twenty five percent of their new home is already done leaving more money for a better home.
